Pulse announces ground breaking .NET Wealth Management solution
Pulse Software Systems Ltd, an independent, UK based, specialist software firm has been developing solutions for Private Wealth Managers for more than 10 years. In 1995 they became the first UK supplier to offer a true Microsoft Windows portfolio management and investment accounting solution. Today, almost 30 investment companies use Pulse to meet their front to back office requirements.
Now, building upon this wealth of experience Pulse has become one of the first suppliers in its field to truly embrace Microsoft .Net and has announced Pulse Symphony™, a major new evolution in its offerings to the Wealth Management industry.
Pulse Symphony™, which is due for official launch during 2006, is a very flexible, front office wealth management solution that consists of a range of highly sophisticated modules developed using C# and utilising the Microsoft .NET framework. Designed as a suite of plug and play software components, Pulse Symphony™ may be implemented on a modular basis creating an interconnected environment to complement existing systems and business processes or delivered alongside Pulse Portfolio to provide a fully integrated front-to-back office Wealth Management solution.

This not only allows the user to display information within their own personalised views but the unique design architecture means that components may also be linked to give true interactive functionality. This means that the technology is available anywhere that you have a fixed or wireless internet connection and can be readily accessed by investment managers on the move and may even be delivered to a PDA device. Web Services, third-party and user designed components can also be easily included and combined within any view. This means that you are not restricted to information held within a single product database; rather you can view and analyse data from many sources including external data providers to incorporate real-time prices, broker research, earnings forecasts or company news all within this extensible environment.
