Pulse Announces MiFid Plans
Miffed about MiFID?
Well, it seems not, as the recent Pulse MiFID Forum was extremely well attended by many of our clients, from Scotland to the South West and all points in between.
The event, kindly hosted by Close Private Asset Management (CPAM), was introduced by guest speaker, Guy Sears of APCIMS. Guy, as ever, was extremely knowledgeable, informative and entertaining. Pulse is very grateful to both CPAM and Guy for their invaluable contributions.
Nick Thacker of Pulse followed Guy's introductions by taking a step by step guide through Pulse Portfolio, clearly identifying each area of the system that is being enhanced or changed as part of Pulse's rollout plans for MiFID. Nick moved on to detail the timetable for change which set out a path to MiFID compliance for Pulse and its' clients well in advance of the November deadline.
Early feedback from clients has been very positive. Guy Shirley of Ruffer LLP says of Pulse's MiFID initiative:
"Having assessed Pulse's proposals we are impressed with the thorough, proactive and accommodating nature of their approach which we consider will meet our software requirements to enable compliance with the MiFID regulations."
