We realise that successful system implementations can only be achieved through experience and by establishing a strong working partnership from outset. This approach is achieved in the form of a detailed project plan that defines participant responsibilities, system deliverables, key milestone objectives and other pertinent detail.

We also believe that software training and familiarisation should start early within the project cycle and involve end users wherever possible. As such our hands-on project team approach is encouraged to include a mix of both Pulse and customer resources.

Implementation

With over 35 successful new business implementations, Pulse utilises a tried and tested methodology by linking key project objectives to business critical goals. An experienced team of professionals are assigned up front to establish key responsibilities and ensure that the appropriate resources are being most efficiently deployed throughout the project cycle. We understand that implementing a new system is a major change and indeed a business critical task. Systems Migration

The transfer of existing data and development of STP messaging interfaces are perhaps the most critical phases. Offering proven experience in the conversion of legacy systems, including a full transfer of all available history, expert assistance is provided to direct and co-ordinate the migration from existing systems. An extensive library of programs exist to manage the process of data integrity and systems reconciliation, thereby easing the transition process, reducing risk and delivering a robust platform from the word "Go".

Development

Most clients find Pulse is able to meet the vast majority of their requirements as standard. We do however realise that no two investment firms are the same and are able to provide technical expertise and development resource to meet any specific requests. We directly manage all software developments In-house and have a dedicated UK based team who have extensive experience in the latest technologies coupled with a solid understanding of Investment Management practices. All developments and software enhancements are fully documented and conform to our strict programming and release standards.

Training

Comprehensive and flexible training is essential. We recognise that training is one of the most important parts of any system implementation, as the necessary knowledge and skills gained will determine the future benefits derived from the system. Pulse can provide both on-site and off-site training tailored to meet your own business requirements and will carefully plan a schedule as part of the project planning and implementation process. On-going training is provided to support the release of new modules, or as new users join the organisation.

Support
